What's up 🤙🏻 I'm Dylan. I take messy, undefined digital problems and turn them into systems people can actually use — researching how people think, structuring the complexity, and building the experience in code myself.

SELECTED WORK

Two projects: a website transformation at Storm Bowling, and an independent product concept.

Storm platform — MatchMaker product-guidance and decision systems
Storm Bowling · Website Transformation

Reimagining a product catalog as a connected bowling platform

Initial research set the direction. Infrastructure and navigation made an expanding ecosystem possible. Later ball-buying research deepened the educational experience and produced new product-guidance and decision systems — each part of the platform continued to inform the others.

System map of the Storm platform work: 863-response website research set the strategic direction, which drove both the educational ecosystem and the infrastructure, IA, and navigation work; a later ball-buying research and decision-systems effort fed back into both — every part continued informing the others.
How the pieces connected: research set the direction, which drove the ecosystem and the platform architecture — and later ball-buying research fed back into both, rather than running as isolated phases.

Independent Project

Pockets financial app main screens

Pockets

A financial app concept — research through prototype — for moving, organizing, and transacting money in one place.

Research · Product · Prototype

HOW I WORK

One connected thread. I don't hand these off between people — I carry the problem from the first research question all the way to shipped, working code.

Research

Understand how people actually think, behave, and decide.

Surveys · Interviews · Usability Testing · Synthesis

System

Structure the complexity into an architecture people can navigate.

IA · Taxonomies · Navigation · Decision Support

Interface

Design the flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens.

User Flows · Wireframes · Prototypes · UI

Shipped

Build the real thing in production — no handoff required.

HTML · CSS · JavaScript · GSAP · APIs · CMS

I sit where UX research, information architecture, and front-end engineering overlap — strongest when the subject is technical, the information is messy, and the path forward hasn't been defined yet.
